  • I've built my business on referrals from friends and neighbors.  Twenty-six years as an Air Force spouse taught me three critical values: "Integrity First", "Service Above Self," and "Excellence in all we do."  My husband lived them daily and now he's my partner in this business after retiring a second from teaching in a high school.  Fourteen moves along the way around the United States and overseas helped me "cage my gyro about the needs of buyers and sellers," as my husband says. 

  • I represent only you...I don't normally do "dual agency" so I can give you full advice in both the easy and the hard choices in a negotiation.  If necessary, I'll get another experienced agent to represent you if I'm representing the seller in the negotiation.  Real estate is about your precious money, not the money earned by an agent.    

  • My 15 years of experience have given me knowledge and "real estate wisdom."  Often "I've been here before" when a hurdle pops up between you and your goal.  That knowledge helps greatly!  You should not be surprised if I tell you "try to sell it yourself" because that is the smartest thing for you to do in your circumstances.    

  • I believe you want a dose of reality when buying or selling.  A reality check is often something you need to constrain your emotions as a contract is agreed and then executed.  The hardest thing to do is to stay objective because a property decision often "tugs at the heartstrings."   

  • I listen to your needs and wants and seek to maximize those things. We'll discuss the tradeoffs you might have to make between all your conflicting demands.   

  • Purchasing or selling a house is a legal transaction.  I know lots of lawyers and can get you the right answers!  Ask my broker-in-charge!  I'm often the one with the question of the moment, the one that needs clarification to keep things proper.   

  • I'm a stickler for details.  Ask my engineer clients!  The phrase "fly by night" is not in my vocabulary.   Once again, in a legal transaction, this is what you want!  I try to visualize future problems as we work through the property purchase steps and seek creative solutions to the inevitable hurdles to cross along the way.  Having 24/7/365 back office support from my husband helps me be efficient in what we need to do.
